Checking out potential areas to stop on a run down the Chesapeake. Spent the weekend in St Michaels. What a great little town! We spent a lot of time on the dock looking at various boats and setups. Here's a few pictures.
We definitely enjoyed the Maritime Museum. Old fashion wood work. Hopefully our cruising boat will be a little more modern. Right now I'm leaning towards a Cape Dory, Island Packet, or Southern Cross. The upcoming boat show should give us some good insight.
When we finally take our trip, this will be stop on the way. You can drop anchor and there's a dingy dock in town to tie up to. Next stop, Annapolis.
