Rock Hall Maryland

One of the many stops along the Chesapeake Bay is Rock Hall, MD. I took my ASA 104 Class there back in September and decided it would be a great place to take Ruth for the weekend. Turns out it was their annual Fall Festival with lots of oysters, music, and crafts. I normally don't like raw oysters, but for buck a shuck, I had to try them out again. Turns out that I like raw chesapeake oysters. It definitely pays to try things again.

We also spent time checking out boats, marinas, and houses. Our plan is to rent a smaller (33') boat out of Rock Hall next summer and then a bigger bareboat charter in BVI in the fall. The weekend also included some bicycle riding and kayaking. There's a really nice wildlife refuge below Rock Hall with a 10 mile kayak loop. Mostly pictures this time:
