Fickle Winds

Our first full afternoon of sailing on Lake Nockamixon today. After a morning visiting Ruth's Mom at church, it's pack a picnic lunch and head to the lake. We had a great afternoon sail. Lake Nockamixon goes from dead calm to small patches of wind that dip the rail. Hard to get some consistent sailing in. At one point a group of six boats went upwind and then we all turned around with an easy downwind sail. Can't wait for some larger water, but this little lake definitely gets in the sailing fix. Bilge patch is working fine, still bone dry. Spring is here!

Next trip out we'll hopefully be introducing our granddaughter to sailing.
