Docking Endorsement

Ruth and I (Drew) just completed our ASA 118 (Docking Endorsement) over the weekend. I figured the hardest thing we've had to do so far is to launch and dock the boat. We took the course with Bay Sail out of Havre de Grace, Maryland. The course was well organized and we had one other student with us.

We both took turns at the helm and handling the lines. It's only a one day course but after docking over and over again, one day was enough. I think Ruth and I have a much better understanding of docking now and can work as a team. So when I say, setup an aft spring line, she'll know what I'm talking about.

The weekend was also very pleasant and we stayed over for two days at a local bed & breakfast. Looking forward to chartering some larger boats with our first bareboat in September. We should definitely have enough credentials to take out the boat.
Bay Sail School & Future Charter for us?
