Land Life

It's going to be very hard to blog about sailing at Lake Nockamixon for the next 8 years. So, I thought I'd show some of the things I'm going to miss about life on land. We love our garden here at Pottstown. Our property is pretty small, but we try to make the best of it. I especially like the mountain laurels we have.

Spring bloom after a harsh winter.

Small buds, but should be a larger plant in a few years.

I also love to fish in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. My favorite is to hike several miles into streams with native brook trout. They may be small, but they sure are pretty.

Low and clear

Small but great colors

We will definitely be fishing between passages and the fish should be a little larger than this. This weekend is calling for 0 knots at the lake today and maybe 5-6 knots tomorrow. Today will consist of a bike ride with my friend Bob, repack the trailing bearings, and then a little guitar practice. Hopefully I can get out on the sailboat tomorrow with a little more wind.
