This was the big trip we've been planning and training for. 7-days on the boat in the British Virgin Islands. We had great weather and winds in the 20-25 knot range for most of the week. Sunday and Monday the seas had 8' swells so this as a little different than our Lake Nockamixon trips.
Our itinerary included stops at Peter Island, The Baths, Virgin Gorda, Saba Rock, Marina Cay, Little Harbor Jost Van Dyke, Great Harbor Jost Van Dyke, Norman Island (Treasure Island), and then back to Road Town in Tortola. We did pretty well except for one instance where our Mooring line got hung up on the keel and rudder. I had to dive under the boat and cut the line away so we'd float free.
This is absolutely a must sail destination and is rated easy due to the line of sight navigation. We chartered from Sunsail and it's a pretty big operation on Tortola with the Moorings, Sunsail, and Footloose all sharing the same Marina. Next year we're off to Puerto Rico and the Passage Islands, but we will definitely have BVI back on our list for a future trip. Here are a few highlight pictures.

Now our sailing season is over and it's time to settle in for late fall and winter. We have a trip planned to the Cayman's in the spring, but it's on land with only a little sailing planned for snorkeling in Stingray City.
