Rock Hall Revisited

Some of you may recall we went to Rock Hall last year for their annual fall festival. It was a pretty nasty weekend last year with rain, cold, and high winds. We decided to go back and this year was much better! This is one of our favorite towns along the Eastern Shore of Maryland and one of the areas we've started chartering from. There are also many marinas in this area with lots of boats to look at. We are definitely learning a good deal about boats during our trips to this area.

The main attraction of the fall festival, at least for me, is the oysters! $5 for 1/2 a dozen with lots of raw, shooters, and fried versions to go around. I think I ate almost 30 oysters with Ruth managing about 4. We also got the chance to listen to music, check out some street vendors, ride bicycles, and take out the kayaks. The local coffee shop has a book exchange that we need to keep in mind for our future cruising trips.

Nice little band

The bow is not out the other side

Master of his craft, I can eat faster than you can shuck

Princess is happy

Nice day on the kayaks, but I'd rather be sailing

Lots of blinds alone Swan Creek
Lots of people enjoying the oysters

Happy at anchor
